Viva Colonia

the fifth season - most precious and holiest holidays in Cologne. It's Carnival and it's on. I'm a tourist here. first time ever I've been to a Rosenmontag parade. You've two options: scream for candy 'Kamelle' or flowers 'Strüßje'. Keep your eyes open 'cause they're actually throwing whole boxes of candies sometimes. And 'Yes!' somebody already had tried to sue the city for getting hit by chocolate (and failed).
The people put a lot of effort in their costumes. The french fries guy had two Hamburger-friends with them - they won't get lost. it's nice everything is colored up. and even those who hadn't taken any interest in their dressing at all, where fitting in perfectly.
